Rocks. Don't worry this post is interesting. I swear it's not an essay on rocks.

1) Today is Jason Orange's 45 birthday *claps hands* (I had a nap and then never finished this post. So his birthday was yesterday. But I will have a drink to celebrate tonight. That's mainly just an excuse for an extra drink :P)

2) I have been meaning to post this for a while but because of my lack of light box was hesitant.  But I bit the bullet and did a bit of improvising.

Today I have to wraps from Incoco's Modern marble collection. Application was like all the other Incoco products I have tried in the past, super easy, and they stay on really well. They are by far the best real polish appliquées I have ever tried.

First I have Set in Stone, A chic design of white and blackberry marble.

Then I have Masterpiece, A shimmery marble pattern of blues and pinks.

Overall I just thought the designs were just ok. Don't get me wrong they look really nice and the quality is top notch, but they just seem a bit lacking. Their inspiration was from marble and stone, and I just feel like these were lacking a bit of dimension. I feel like had they made this a stone collection and had maybe marble, amethist, opal, jade and made them look just like the stones they were inspired by it would be AMAZING.

If you would like a set, these retail for 8.99 USD over at Incoco's website.

If I liked hot weather, a tropical escape would look nice right about now.

Sorry I have been away the past week. I have mould(eep) in my bedroom and had to get that dealt with. Because of that I have had to take pretty much everything out of my room including all my nail stuff. And I threw out my light box because I figured since I was emptying the room I might as well get rid off stuff I didn't need. And that light box was looking rough. Luckily for me I took photos for these shortly before my room was taken apart :)

These are nail wraps for the new Incoco Tropical escape collection.

First I have Tropical Getaway which is described as "A lush design of island leaves"

Next I have Summer Dream which is described as "A cool azure blue". I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of single colour wraps. I personally think I can paint my nails one colour in less time then it takes to apply these. Also EVERY little imperfection shows up on these(as you can see), so you have to be very careful. That being said there is no dry time.

Finally I have 2 that I combined. Summer Night which is described as "A playful & bright tropical design"and Strawberry Daiquiri which is described as "A bold, punchy summer pink". As you can see I combined the plain wraps with the wraps with designs then I added some rheinstones to the plain ones just to add a little something extra. I really liked this combo and I have been wearing this for almost a week with just a bit of tip wear. And I did add topcoat.

Overall even though I wasn't a fan of the plain wraps I do think they are all great quality and I would recommend getting some of the fun summer designs. You can get them now at the Incoco website for $8.99USD or you can get one of their 4 bundles, which contain 4 different packages of wraps they are normally $33.96USD, but are currently on sale for $27.00USD.

Do you like stars? Do you like stripes? Do you like stars AND stripes?

Well this is the post for you!

Today I have a couple sets of Incoco's Made in America, real polish, nail appliqué collection, which is available today(May 11th) on their website!

The first set I have is Lady Liberty, which is described as 'A sweet mix of stars, stripes, chevron, and hearts'.  My favorite(Without a u ;) ) part of this design was the tiny stars within the lines! Even though it is small and may not be noticed from afar, it's still a super clever idea!

Next I have Starsrtuck, which is probably the one I like best out of the two. It's described as 'A red, silver, and blue star-studded design'. I was a bit worried about these because when I peeled them off their backing I noticed they were on the thin side, and a bot transparent. Luckily once I put them on the nail that wasn't noticeable at all.

These are great for those of you who celebrate the 4th of July, are attending the opening of a Marvel film that involves Captain America, or you just really like stars and stripes. You can find them on their website for $8.99.

Incoco Minimalist Collection Pt. 2: Lots Of Lines

Sorry I'm posting this later than planned. I have just been super busy! Today I have the second half of the Incoco Nail Appliqués from their Minimalist Collection! Part 1 is over here.

The ones I have for you today are Echo(A black and white linear and geometric design) and Finale(Converging and intersecting purple lines on muted gold). The application was super easy as usual, even with the cutting I had to do so some of the appliqués fit properly. These were my two favourites from this collection. They felt like simple nail art, that had just the right amount of a creative twist.

If you like these and would like to buy a pack you can get them over at Incoco's website, where they retail for $8.99(USD) each.

Incoco Minimalist Collection Pt. 1: A touch of black

So I have been super busy this past week so I have to do this post in two parts. This first post will be 3 out of the 5 nail polish appliqués from Incoco's Minimalist collection. Application of these was super easy as usual. It takes me about 25 minutes to do an entire manicure. That includes sizing, trimming and filing.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this collection originally, because in my head I thought "I can easily do all these without appliqués". But my opinion sort of changed once I started using them.

The first I have is Apex, which turned out to be one of my favourites. According to Incoco it's a "Muted gold with a bold reverse-French triangle".  First of all I am a sucker for gold so that's a win. While I do think this design is easy to achieve on your own, it takes time if you want it to look crisp like this. Which is why I think this is fantastic for both people who do nail art and for those who don't. I ended up wearing this for a few days and didn't want to take it off.

The next two I have are Forte which Incoc describes as a "Strong, classic red with a touch of black" and Prelude a "Nutral beige with a slim black colour block". I wasn't really a fan of these two. I will start by saying I did love the colours on me(the beige actually surprised me), but I found any and all imperfections really showed up on these. Also the black lines were really uneven. I did trim these like I do all my appliqués, but I never touched the black side. Finally these are personally manicures I think I could do in the same amount of time on my own and have them look even.

If you like these you can get them on Incoco's Website. They retail for $8.99(USD) and will be available starting March 31st. Which is your favourite?

Spring is here(sort of)!

Blah! I'm sick! I feel like we had this conversation only a few weeks ago. I'm currently doing all I can to minimize my cold symptoms and hopefully make it shorter. Luckily I have been working on this post for almost a week now, so I don't have to worry as much about it.

Today I have for you 3 sets of Incoco Nail Appliqués from their new Picture Perfect Spring 2015 collection. I haven't actually used nail wraps or appliqués in what seems like eons. So when this landed at my feet I was excited to play with them. These appliqués are made with nail polish and are very easy to apply. That being said they are not one size fits all, and sometimes(like in my case) you have to cut them so they fit properly. That can mean they take a little bit longer to put on, but once you figure out what appliqués fit you best and exactly how to cut each one, you get faster. Once I got them on my nails, I did top coat them even though the package said it had it's own base and top coat. Without it I noted they would start peeling the minute I tried to use my fingers. That being said I got really good wear out of it when I wore it with top coat. And I honestly don't think they would have stayed on for so long without it, but maybe that's an experiment for next time. I wasn't a fan of removal, as the adhesive that they use get's super sticky and gross when removed.

Overall I don't know if these designs are for me, but I did love the quality of the appliqués. They are great for designs you wouldn't normally do. If you would like a set of these, they retail for  $8.99(USD) at incoco.com starting March 16th, 2015. They also have 5 other designs.

Cherry Blossom
Sprigs of a soft pink sakura blooms

 Vintage Charm
A sweet mix of stripes and dainty flowers
 Blushing Beauty
Pretty Pink Roses over polka dots
This is the sticky residue I was talking about

Which one do you like the best?

Incoco Temptress and other things that are going on finger nail wise.

So today I have the last set of nail polish appliqués that I was sent to review from Incoco.  I decided that this time I didn't want to do a whole manicure with this.  And for the record I don't think I've ever done this before.  I find it hard to do multiple different nails and have it all be cohesive.   But I think I pulled it off!

Anyways Temptress is a black nail appliqué with random purple lines.  Normally I would find the appliqués that fit my nails best.  But this time since I wasn't doing a full mani I used the 2 largest sizes and cut them down to fit my nails.  Once that was done application was easy.  I finished off with China Glaze Angel Wings on my ring finger and H&M Plum on my pinky and thumb along with some studs from the Born Pretty Store.

Overall I really like Incoco's nail polish appliqués.  They are thin, flexible and you can stretch them without distortion.  I also really like the fact that they are nail polish, they aver very natural looking(as far as polish goes...if that makes sense).  And I love the idea of having a bunch of these and using them for things like vacations or accent nails.

If you would like to get your hands on some of these head on over to Incoco's website.  They retail for $8.99USD each.

Incoco Nail Polish Appliqués in Wild Card: There is only one word to describe these. Majestic.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while.  I've been really busy and on top of that my internet LOVES to cut out ever now and then.  Sometimes it likes to cut out and not come back on for a good 24 hours.  Imagine 24 hours Tumblr free.  It was the worst.

Anyways today I have the second pair of Incoco nail polish appliqués in Wild Card.  They are a majestic zebra print...or are they tiger?  Which one of those animals is green and gold glitter?  Either way it is green and gold glitter with black stripes.  Application this time around was much easier.  I didn't have any problems with lifting or not laying flat.  A couple of the fingers I did tear the edges when I was peeling them off the backing.  But that was my fault as I peeled them away too fast.

I love these!  They wore really well.  The last two photos were actually taken on day 5 of me wearing them!  I'm sure I could have gotten more wear out of them but 5 days is long for me.  And despite the fact that they are glitter there was barely any grit to them.  One coat of topcoat made it completely smooth.  Removal was kind of a pain but I didn't expect anything less from a glitter.   I ended up wearing them to an R. Kelly Trapped in the Closet Sing Along!(But I'll tell you about that another day :P)

I should add that these actually come with a piece of tape so you can seal the package back up again.  Last time I used these I accidentally dropped the tape.  When I eventually saw it on the floor I had no clue where it was from or what it was so I threw it out.

I'm excited to try my third set.  I'm glad I saved it for last because it's not a glitter or a shimmer.  With a glitter and a shimmer you can get away with little mistakes but they will probably be more visible with my last set.  Which is why I'm glad I think I now have the hang of it.

Incoco Nail Polish Appliqués in Rock On!: Another First!

So a few weeks ago I tried nail wraps for the first time and I really did love them.  So when Incoco asked me to review some of their nail polish appliqués I of course said yes.  I figured they were the same idea so I was excited!

Within the exterior white packaging, the appliqués are in a smaller air tight package.   A pack contains 16  double-ended strips. Instructions are on the back. The set I got is Rock On.  It's a blue and silver snakeskin look.  Pretty badass eh?

First off I didn't put base coat on because it said on the front of the package that it also had base and top coat.  Next I had to cut some of them(which was easy) because some didn't fit me correctly.  I cut them while they still had their clear cover and paper back.  I found this easier than cutting them without the support as the polish strips were floppy.  I found the strips were relatively easy to apply.  Because they are year polish they don't have as much give, so if you are stretching them out be careful as it may tear.  And while you can lift it off your nail and realign it it dose begin to loose its stick quickly.  Even though it said it was already topcoatified I added some because a couple were beginning to peel because it was no longer sticky(Index and pinky finger) and I had some areas that didn't lie down properly on the nail(which you really cant see in the photos).  So far I have been wearing it for just over 24 hours and so far so good.  Showers and all!  Finally even though it says on the package to use these imadiatly I was left with 6 left over.  As soon as I finished they went in a sealed bag.  I want to still try and use them again!

I really, really like these but I will admit they do need a little more practice and patience as they are less forgiving then the previous wraps I used.

If you would like of set of these or any one of their other fun designs head on over to Incoco's website where they retail for $8.99USD!  I still have 2 more sets of these that I'm super pumped to show you guys!
