Buy This! (I swear this isn't sponsored)

So recently I have been trying to clean up my computer. I have too many useless meme and gifs that I am hoarding because I think that one day I will find the perfect text to use it as a response to. Well in that hoard there are a lot of beauty posts. So my goal is to go through them...... before I delete them.

So today I have one of my favourite blushes EVER. Normally when it comes to makeup I'm not a snob. I don't care if it's drug store or high end, if it performs well, I like it. I never like to judge a brand based on it's price, and I always believe that you can usually find comparable dupes of most high end brands for less.

Now I want you to take what I just said, and throw it out the window. This product is high end, expensive, and if there is a dupe out there I don't ever want it's name spoken on this blog.

This blush is NARS Taj Mahal. I wont lie I bought it because of all the praise I read online about it. Let me tell you, they weren't wrong. Taj Mahal is a burnt orange, shimmery blush, that is super pigmented. And when you put it on you'll look like you have been kissed by the angel Gabriel. The one potential problem with this is like I said it is super pigmented, so you have to have to use it with a delicate touch. That and the packaging has kind of a rubbery finish, so it attracts dirt like crazy.

If you have chocolate skin, you need this. Literally. I cannot stress how pretty this is on our skin. If you have lighter skin, it can still work for you, but you need to be very careful with it so you don't go into Oompa Lompa cheek mode.

If you want to get your hands on this blush it retails for $30/£23.00 and you can find it on websites like Sephora or NARS. And in most department stores that sell higher end makeup.

What are some of your favourite blushes?

I'm just running in circles...

So as you guys know, The Born Pretty Store sent us some lovely things to review recently, and today I'm showing you my pick!

I got the 1.5mm silver circle studs, and I am SO pleased with them.  They were easy to use, they stuck well and don't fall off easily, and look really, really nice on.  I wore these to work at my yoga studio and had about 20 people ask where I got them done.  I've had them on for two days now and they're showing no signs of falling off.  They also don't catch when I have my hands in my long hair, which - to me at least - is pretty freaking great.

I decided to put them over a dark purple base because I wanted a colour that worked with my skin and still let the studs show, so here are these awesome studs over two coats of NARS Koh Lanta.

Do you guys love this easy nail art as much as I do? I'm already planning to wear them again.  These are just so nice and fun.  You can pick them up from Born Pretty Store, you get a lot of them so it's well worth it.

It's so cute, she'll sometimes take a pack of mayonnaise...

So when I saw swatches of Hap Hap Happy Hands' Arrested Development collection, I knew my paypal balance was going to suffer.  Arrested Development is easily in my top 5 favourite TV shows of all time, and I absolutely loved the moments she used as inspiration for the polishes.  I bought three, but I'll have to show you the other two together because they go together(Illusions, Michael and Tricks are Something a Whore Does for Money... Or Candy).   So first up is Mayonegg, which feautures medium and larger matte yellow hex glitters in a jelly-like white base with fine shimmer.

I did three coats alone on my middle finger(and index) and the other fingers show two thin coats over a single coat of my favourite white creme, NARS Ecumé.  The formula left a lot to be desired as you can see from the obvious application problems(FORGET wrapping the tips with this one!), but I anticipated that because this polish is honestly PACKED with glitters.  The trouble in application was forgiven when there was not a bit of glitter fishing to be done.

First photo was taken in bright sunlight, the other two in fluorescent indoor light.
