This was pretty much impossible to capture how it looked in person. So most of these shots are underwater.
Just Spotted The Lizard is a gold/green duochrome shimmer (But you probably already knew that). Application was good and I used 2 coats for this. The only real negative is in person it's a tad brush stroke-y.
And this post wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention Chanel's Peridot. Apparently they are very, VERY close. Pretty much dupes. So if you really wanted Peridot but didn't want to shell out the cash for it, or you missed it, or you spent the money on it, only to make it part of your nail blog's giveaway. I would say get this... And wear it underwater for maximum fun.
Under
The
Sea.
Actually under plain tap water.
This is probably how it looks most of the time in normal indoor lighting.
ETA: I was looking at my hands today in different lighting. IRL this polish is slightly more intense than the photo above. And slightly less intense with the underwater pictures. Flash brings the shimmer out.

Just Spotted The Lizard... On flash!
I only have a bottle shot to compare. As the Chanel bottle is for our giveaway. They honestly look the same in the bottle. The only difference is the OPI looks more duochrome-y due to the shape of the bottle.
Speaking of Chanel don't forget our giveaway there's less than a day left to enter!!!
And we just passed 400 followers!!! THANKS EVERYONE!!! - Kas & George
Oh. My. God. I think I'd run to Sephora to ask them if they have it. If it wasn't 10.28 pm. But since it is, I'll go find it on ebay...

ReplyDeleteOMG you got the blue to actually show in a photo. Simply amazing. (we blogged the same polish on the same day...great minds:-) This is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's very true :P And underwater shots intensify everything. I actually noticed(even though I don't have a picture of it) that the blue comes out in lower lighting (I was in the living room with the lights off and the lights from the kitchen were on across from me. It actually looked more like the underwater shot. But unless I had some AMAZING camera I doubt I would even be able to capture it :(
DeleteI'm loving these underwater shots! It definitely shows duochromes to their very best! Great swatches- thanks for sharing!
