I can honestly say I just wasn't in a dotting mood and all the dot manicures I had I just didn't feel like using. I could have done gradients which I love doing but my favorite gradients involve a butt load of glitter which never look as good on camera. Which left me with animal print, bows, and Hello Kitty. When I thought of animal prints, bows, and Hello Kitty I couldn't think of anything I wanted to do with them. But I did know I had been wanting to do an animal print for a while. I didn't know what print. All I knew was I didn't want it to be an animal print you see all the time.
So I ended up with this bad boy. Nausibranch print nails! These animals come in all sorts of stellar colours. But these little guys caught my attention (And not just because they're having The Sex in the photo below ;) ).
For this manicure I used a mixture of Sally Hansen's Lacy Lilac and Miss Kiss Flippin' for the lavender, OPI's Miami Beet for the spots (I guess you could call these dots :P), and a combination of paint and some yellow Orly mini polish (Don't know where the box with the name is).
Hope everyone enjoys!
Sea Slug Sex (Try saying that 5 times fast)
And now for the announcement!
We've finally hit 56 (and now 57) followers! Huzzah!!! Thank you everyone!!! And in honor of that we will be having a giveaway VERY soon. (Think within the next week!) Now I can't tell you exactly what we're giving away because we're still not 100% sure what we're giving away but we do know one thing. Part of it is...
Chanel.
That's right we're giving away a Chanel dress. Straight off the runway. Ok the dress part's a lie, but wouldn't that be neat if it were true?
Love the mani!
ReplyDeleteLol, that would be cool, if you were giving away a dress.

DeleteI was going to put the picture behind a cut (out of respect for the slugs) but then I thought no. Clearly they had no problem being photographed. I mean you should know if the National Geographic people start snapping pictures it's going to end up on the net.
