I used to take a lot of photos when I started blogging. I want to say I could easily take 60. Now a days I try and limit myself to around 15 shots, as it's just less overwhelming. Lets be real, when you take 60 shots half of them are similar or identical to a bunch of other ones you have. Well since I have been redoing my room I have been lightbox free, which means a lot more misses rather than hits. Long story short I was worried I wouldn't get to share this manicure because ALL the shots were crap, minus the last shot. Huzzah!
On to the deets. This is a simple manicure(as I'm sure most of you have noticed) I used Chanel's Malice and Zoya's Tomoko. I used Nail Vinyl's to make the squiggly lines. Easy as pie. I ended up wearing this longer than I usually wear manicures for. FIVE days. If I'm going to wear Malice I WILL be getting as much use out of it as possible.

Stop! Hammer Time!
I don't know why but the other night I really wanted to do nails inspired by Luboutin shoes. Don't know why, but I just did. When I saw these studded heels I knew I had the PERFECT Born Pretty rhinestones to go with it. And I of course HAD to pain the other side of my nails red(Revlon Red Carpet)!
My nails were on fleek!
Sadly the fleek died a day later when I stopped liking them.
Ps. I will do my Wiki Challenge nails this week, but when I have time. I have a pretty nifty topic(This week you had to find a random article!).
Pps. The rhinestone wheel was a NIGHTMARE to open. They have since fixed the problem, but the cases they were in used to have a lid that swivels, but mine wouldn't budge. So I ended up using a hammer to open it.

2 Become 1
As you can see I haven't been around much this month. While I no longer have mould, I now have an empty room with new furniture that has yet to be built because I have been quite the busy bee lately. I haven't really been doing much art because I haven't really had a place to do it, but I have been missing it loads. I haven't actually done art in weeks :'( I finally couldn't take it and decided to start up again with something simple.
I decided to combine two things to make something super awesome. I started out with a white base and then did a gradient using Sinful Colors Pull Over, and Picture Polish Mad Magenta. When I was done that I applied a thick coat of clear polish(I think by Sally Hansen), and then quickly blobbed on Orly's Liquid Vinyl. I did this one finger at a time. Finally I let it dry for about 20 minutes before I added a coat of top coat and la voilà! I think it looks fab, don't you think?

If I liked hot weather, a tropical escape would look nice right about now.
Sorry I have been away the past week. I have mould(eep) in my bedroom
and had to get that dealt with. Because of that I have had to take
pretty much everything out of my room including all my nail stuff. And I
threw out my light box because I figured since I was emptying the room I
might as well get rid off stuff I didn't need. And that light box was
looking rough. Luckily for me I took photos for these shortly before my
room was taken apart :)
These are nail wraps for the new Incoco Tropical escape collection.
First I have Tropical Getaway which is described as "A lush design of island leaves"
Next I have Summer Dream which is described as "A cool azure blue". I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of single colour wraps. I personally think I can paint my nails one colour in less time then it takes to apply these. Also EVERY little imperfection shows up on these(as you can see), so you have to be very careful. That being said there is no dry time.
Finally I have 2 that I combined. Summer Night which is described as "A playful & bright tropical design"and Strawberry Daiquiri which is described as "A bold, punchy summer pink". As you can see I combined the plain wraps with the wraps with designs then I added some rheinstones to the plain ones just to add a little something extra. I really liked this combo and I have been wearing this for almost a week with just a bit of tip wear. And I did add topcoat.
Overall even though I wasn't a fan of the plain wraps I do think they are all great quality and I would recommend getting some of the fun summer designs. You can get them now at the Incoco website for $8.99USD or you can get one of their 4 bundles, which contain 4 different packages of wraps they are normally $33.96USD, but are currently on sale for $27.00USD.
