Best. Haul Post. Ever!

So in our Butter London Christmas Giveaway one of the options on the Rafflecopter was tell us what you want to see on this blog.  One of the more popular answers was to do haul posts.  There's actually a reason you haven't seen one since my last one in June.

This is what I have bought since then.

Nothing.

Yeah, you heard me.  I haven't bought a bottle since June.

6 months.

Well technically I have.  But they have all been gifts.  But nothing for me.

Prior to June I bought some polish but not a lot as I knew I was going on vacation.  I was saving up money not only for that(And that included polish $$$).  July and August I just didn't buy any.  When it comes to polish I'm like that child who's a super picky eater.   Rarely do I think "Wow I need this entire collection!".

Anyways after September is a different story.  My friend drinks Coke EVER DAY.  And I always bother him about it.  I told him I bet he couldn't go a few months without coke.  He said he could and would if I gave up buying polish (with the exception of gifts) till January 1st 2013.  Since I had already been doing it for a few months prior I said yes.

It's a bit harder to resist during the holidays though.  If there's any collection I'm going to fall in love with it's going to be a Christmas/winter collection.   Not only that but the sales...*groan*.  So I don't look unless it's for a gift.

I think it's well worth my friend not getting diabetes right?

ETA:  How long do you usually go without buying polish?

  1. Good for you! I've spent hundreds in the last few months. >.< Also, that cat gif is completely hypnotizing. I can't stop watching it.

  7. Heh, I was expecting something totally different, yet this is a great title and post. Congrats! To me 6 months sounds like sci-fi, completely impossible, since I am currently trying for a no-buy and I haven't bought anything in over 3 weeks, which is huge for me.

  9. Holy crap, 6 months?! I am immediately doing shame-face. I always try to hold out (it's not like I NEED any more flippin' polish!), but I still spend quite a bit on polish. Definitely too much. Maybe you're inspiring me, though? I sense a New Year's resolution coming on...

  10. WOW, I feel a bit like the cat on the gif LOL - that's amazing...
But only the other day I said to myself, you have waaayyyy to many untried polishes, so it would be nice not to buy more for a while - but I doubt I'll execute the plan...

  11. I am impressed!!!! I try to only buy very few until the sales and then again until RBL releases the Fan Collection. If I feel the itch to buy I just look at my untrieds and then its like NO WAY!!!

  12. You go, girl! :D As for me, I have a $20 per month limit for nail polish, so I don't end up with more than a few bottles a month. :-)
